Beacon For The Future
The HOT•BED Beacon for the Future was activated Thursday, April 16th at 12:00 AM. Produced by Artemide, lost to time, and rediscovered by gallery owner Bryan Hoffman, the Beacon exists in solitude within the white box gallery at 723 Chestnut Street.
This virtual exhibition is comprised of over 50 works from artists who heeded the beacon’s call, and submitted their vision for the future. All works are priced at $75, with 20% of each sale benefiting Step Up to the Plate, a collaboration between Broad Street Ministry, Project HOME, Prevention Point Philadelphia and SEAMAAC to ensure access to food and medical care for Philadelphians experiencing homelessness and food insecurity during COVID-19.
