"Impromptu" is a whimsical performance piece by visual artist, puppeteer and art educator Dimitri Saari. Taking inspiration from the Commedia dell'arte, a 16th century form of improvisational street theatre from Italy blended with his own unique and quirky sense of humor as he wanders throughout the gallery spaces with his 'belongings' in toe. Join him on his journey as he fondly remembers days past using favorite childhood toys, puppets, and masks with small gifts for lucky participants.
Impromptu will run in a set of three performances on October 16th, 2021, at 2 PM, 5 PM & 7 PM
